A Stop at an Alabama Roadside Stand.

We've been on the road a few days now, trying out barbecue joints and checking out places to visit in southern Alabama. On our way out of Mobile, we spotted a bright orange roadside stand in Wilmer that smelled really fantastic, so we stopped. Here's what we discovered.

Alright, Kat! This is the second time in two months that you and I have passed through the same places. We need to coordinate this better, so we can be there at the same time. This place, like the Mexican restaurant in Hot Springs, was really good! A great find!

I lived in Alabama for a couple years and loved exploring the roadside stands. I never ran into one where they were boiling peanuts though. I did find fried peanuts which I intended to try only my dog beat me too them. :) Sounds like a fun adventure.
